It is the cozy movie-night cuddle spot and a source of comfort when we are convalescing. It's hard to imagine celebrities, with their high-profile lives and expensive abodes, relaxing the same way that we do or curling up with a comforter on their favourite sofa when they are sick. But the truth is that they are a lot more like us than we think. Ever wonder what sofas celebrities choose to fill their living spaces? Now is your chance to catch a backstage peek. ## As it turns out, celebrities love neutrals as much as we do! In a recent people.com round-up, country starlet Kelsea Ballerini's cosy couch gave us serious sectional envy, looking absolutely irresistible in an overstuffed off-white that the songstress herself describes as cloud-like. ![](https://blog.mcelherans.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/lighter-May-20-2022-05-20-27-13-PM.jpeg) ![](https://i.shgcdn.com/f12a91f0-cf97-428f-a6d5-81b671c3ae02/-/format/auto/-/preview/3000x3000/-/quality/lighter/) Ballerini isn't the only high-profile VIP to brave a neutral palette for their living room's cornerstone piece. The Bachelor's **Lauren Bushnell** has bravely opted for a pristine white sofa to compliment her modern-styled den. If you are looking for a similar solution for your living space but the idea of having a white sofa makes you nervous, you should check out the line of performance fabrics available at McElheran's Furniture + Design. Beautiful fine finishes that clean up like a breeze are true what family room nirvana is made of. **Gwyneth Paltrow**, with no shortage of imagination, has successfully upped the ante on the neutral game by incorporating an antique Indian door, turned custom-made swing, into her mostly white decor. The unique conversation piece beautifully compliments a light grey sectional, whose visibly wear-resistant material proves that the starlet is not only creative but also practical. ![](https://i.shgcdn.com/e2d037ff-434a-47da-ab78-c40b2358ce52/-/format/auto/-/preview/3000x3000/-/quality/lighter/) ![](https://i.shgcdn.com/077051aa-be1d-4172-88b7-5fd7080095d4/-/format/auto/-/preview/3000x3000/-/quality/lighter/) In a world where "neutral" can sometimes be misconstrued for bland, **Sutton Foster** breaks the mould. Her upscale New York condo takes a classic neutral look and gives it a bold punch with an eye-catching hot pink couch. Aquamarine, fuscia, and vibrant green accent pillows add even more fun to space for a comfy but whimsical aesthetic. Vibrant colours, bold darks or sophisticated neutrals, McElheran's Furniture + Design has something for every taste in sofas, living room sets, dining rooms and so much more. We like to think Gwyneth, Sutton, Lauren and Kelsea would shop McElheran's too, if they lived here in Edmonton.
